Chloridazon

Mode of action
The active ingredient chloridazon is a selective systemic herbicide. Chloridazon
is rapidly absorbed by the roots, with translocation acropetal to all plant parts.

Use
The herbicide chloridazon is used for the control of annual broad-leaved weeds in
sugar beet, fodder beet and beetroot. Chloridazon is used by application pre-plant
incorporated, pre-emergence, or post-emergence at a dose rate of 1.3-3.25 kg
active ingredient per ha. Chloridazon is often used in combination with other herbicides.
